Newbie Q: What are "User Stories" in Scrum for TS v3?

Hi All,

I really like the monitor, and am trying to use it with the Scrum for Team System v3 process template.

The question is: What are "User Stories" as displayed in the Scrum Sprint Monitor?

The process template doesn't appear to have these, just "Product Backlog Items", which is the center pie chart of the monitor.

I'm still in the process of populating and setting things up, so I could have something mis-understood (or be using the process template the wrong way).

Any pointers appreciated!

Ciao,

Peter K.

PS: Pointers to where I should look in the code would be good!

The monitor is designed to work with any process template, so it doesn't necessarily follow the same naming adopted by each process template. There are IProcessTemplateAdaptor class implementations for each process template supported, which take care of translating the data for the monitor to consume.

So for this process template in particular, User Stories correspond to Product Backlog Items and Bugs, as you can see in ConchangoV3ProcessTemplateAdapter.cs.

I see!

This seems to be doing the appropriate mapping:

get { return new[] {"Sprint Backlog Task", "Product Backlog Item", "Bug"}; }

Nice and simple!

Thanks for the pointer. Much appreciated!
