How the link work between SSM and Outlook

I can't find how to configure SSM to work with Outlook. I have enabled SSM to work with Outlook, but how link a team member with this outlook calandar?

Hi exatex, thanks for the kind words.

If your user names in TFS match the recipient names in Outlook, then things should work out-of-the-box. Otherwise, you can always configure each team member's name in team-info.xml using the <scheduler-alias></scheduler-alias> element. Inside that element you must put the name by which Outlook knows that team member (it should be able to resolve that string when you click "Check Names" in Outlook).

ok, i need to have outlook in the computer that run SSM, and regularly refresh it (send/receive). should I ?

In my case of use, the computer that host SSM in not used as working, but, just used to host Virtual machines for testing. In fact it is rarely used, and is a great choice to run SSM.

I have the same setup on my office, and I have set up Outlook on that machine just for that purpose.
